Pro tip: if the snow is too bright, adjust the brightness of your monitor

I have been seeing quite a few complaints about how bright the snow is. In most cases, this can be solved by adjusting the brightness settings of your monitor (if you're on a desktop PC). Either the monitor is too bright from the factory, or you might have adjusted the brightness for a different game (I know a lot of gamers will turn up the brightness to bring out details in "dark" games).

Ising the night mode on windows really helps as well. Just a wuick click instead of adjusting brightness just for one game is much easier.

my brightness is correctly set for EVERY game I play even the Snow in Days Gone isn't this bright

Did you actually TRY to lower your brightness, or did you just decide to whinge without actually changing anything?

lol, settings arent even in line on the menu so if they did add brightness they'd need to address that first.
ffs its embaressing this game doesnt have proper settings...its painful not to have proper LOD, shadows, or ANY settings. cant pick on someone for not being that happy to change their pc monitor to enjoy an update we didnt even ask for. to make everything white.
