Does anyone have any up to date and accurate prices for home much things sell for? Thanks

Logs $10
Cordwood $10
Beams $24
Lumber $12
Iron Ore $20
Rails $ 25
Raw Iron $25
Coal $15
Steel Pipes $ 40
Tools $30
Crude Oil $25
Oil Barrels $40

It wasn’t asked, but as of the same patch, here’s the input/output ratios. I’ve listed the Medium difficulty setting.

Sawmill: - INPUT 1 log - OUTPUT 1 beam/1 lumber

Smelter: - INPUT 2 Iron/4 cordwood - OUTPUT 2 rails/1 raw iron

Iron Ore Mine: -INPUT 2 lumber/1 beam - OUTPUT 5 iron ore

Coal Mine: -INPUT 2 beams/1 rail - OUTPUT 10 coal

Iron Works: -INPUT 1 coal/3 lumber/4 raw iron - OUTPUT 4 steel pipes/16 tools

Oil Fields: -INPUT 3 steel pipes/3 beams/1 tool - OUTPUT 24 crude oil

Refinery: -INPUT 2 lumber/1 steel pipe/12 crude oil - OUTPUT 10 oil barrels (5 on each ramp)

Note: the above is the medium setting for industry difficulty. For EASY, multiply OUTPUTS by 2. For HARD multiply INPUTS by 2.

Why is coal worth less than iron ore? Are coal loads lighter, enabling more cars per run?

(I haven't gotten that far in the game yet)

Because Iron ore is used to build everything.

The same way I did this crazy invention called a search engine. If you haven't heard of it type google.com in your Microsoft edge program. It's crazy cause you can type in things and it will give related web pages! Such as a post a year ago about pricings in a game.
