Downloadable worlds?

What if you can post a save file of your world so people can download it? Right now that isn't possible in my knowledge. I think I can go into the game files and copy that save and send it to somebody right? (On second thought there would be the problem of people claiming that they made the world though)

There are no copyrights on maps. there is no compensation either so it really does not matter if someone claims a map. It is just a way to chare creations and ideas with others. If you only care about being recognized for your design you should probably not share it :)

Thanks Bendigo for the info. I copied the world and tried it on another computer and it worked.

That is basically what the website does, but it allows editing without knowing how to use hex editor.

You can potentially share the game ith any file sharing program.

The site also has the ability to return missing rolling stock.

I tried using it, but when I go to download it, all it says is "This is nor your save game!"

It has been forever since i posted that. I know they changed things since then to try to solve issues with people claiming tgey made maps but didn't. The last time i used it they had added steam login requirements and an option to allow tge maps to be downloaded or not. I really don't know what they have done since then.

Some how I was able to download one map by spamming the download button. Idk how that happened.

Any map on minizwerg that is prefixed with an asterisk * is marked public by the person who uploaded it, allowing for download.

Once you have downloaded the map, place it in the save games folder and rename the downloaded save to slot1.sav to slot10.sav

To get to the save game folder, press windows-key & R, then paste this into the box:
%localappdata%\arr\Saved\SaveGames
