Asus Zenscreen Touch (MB16AMT) not connecting

The monitor doesn't seem to be picking up this monitor, and I can't find anything talking about whether the model is directly supported or not, so I decided to create a post to keep track of whether or not it works and what tricks might be needed.

I see a lot of posts talking about how there are tricks with plugging/unplugging the power from the dock to force recognition of the TV/Monitor, so that will be my first stop.

My monitor has a dual input setup (both HDMI and USB-C) and while the adapter that I have that converts from USB-C to USB 3.0 (?) I haven't tried an HDMI to Displayport adapter.

While the screen does have touch capabilities, I'm not too upset if I can't get that to work.

I will come back to this post to update as I test things, and if there's any posts below that help I"ll try and highlight those as well.
