Before I buy
Hi so I want to know before I buy a few things, how good is this game in terms of replay-ability? I have been really liking games lately with this type of aspect.. Are worlds procedurally generated? This is another thing I like to look for in games now, because obviously it fills the need for replay-ability by a long shot.. What is the immersion like? Especially in terms of interacting with NPC’s? Thank you in advance for answers

I would say it's a mixed bag in terms of replay-ability. You can die in the game and then you need to create a new character to start again with, but there is also meta-progression that carries over from one life to the next. So there is replay-ability in that starting with a new character is fun but as you get further in the game it's very easy and quick to get a new character to the same point your old character was at. Also, while you can try new builds and that is fun, builds aren't mutually exclusive on a character so you can try a new build with the same character. There are some exceptions like love vs hate and ice vs fire karma which are mutually exclusive. Also these different karmas can unlock some story elements, although the one I've tried (sword of hate) didn't seem fully fleshed out yet, remember this is still in alpha so that will hopefully change. Overall, I think I have made 6-7 characters over 40 hours of game play. I will probably play a few more hours hear or there, but I think I'm mostly done with the game until some more content gets released.

As, for the procedural generations, the answer is yes and no, the landscapes is built in blocks and the blocks are procedurally placed* but the blocks themselves are premade so after a while you get repeats. I think there are around 40 blocks at the moment, but several were added since I started and more will likely keep coming.

I think Interacting with NPCs is pretty great,** especially if you are a fan Wuxia stories as you will recognise some common tropes. You can end up with some funny situations. For example, I was hired to assassinate someone only to realise later that the target was someone I had lent money to so they could start a business, so if I killed them I wouldn't get my money back. Instead I just beat them and broke a leg which my client was happy with, and then the person I beat gave me the money they owed me the next day. I'm not sure if beating them triggered them to return the money or if was just a coincidence, but with a little bit of imagination the NPCs really feel like real people with their own motivations.

My overall verdict is that the game is very playable right now, with 20-100hrs worth of gameplay depending on how completionist you want to be, and has a ton of potential to improve as more content gets added to it. I think depending what content gets added the replay-ability could be really high as well, if they add quests and choices that have more long term effects I could see myself wanting to go back and see what happens if I make different choices.

* actually you place the block by selecting from a random set of blocks.
** as long as you can tolerate the machine translation, although they have fixed some of the jarring mistranlations
