Seach for specific npc

I have assasination quest but cant find my target.

You can see the names of the people if you hover your mouse on them in the map screen I usually find them by doing that. I don't know if there is an easier way though. Maybe you can try opening the relations page of the one of their family members and try to track his/her location from there but I never tried that.

could not find him by mouseover and he wasnt in relationships. World got heavily bugged and had to restart

It is a pain in the @, but what you can do is find the person the quest was issued by on the map. Then search their relationship list, which will reveal an enmity which is going to be the target you can tag.

They really should have added a quest marker system for the assassination targets.
