I am still playing my old save atm. I have noticed alot of minor bugs that were not there before 1.0. not sure if that has anything to do with it though. So I am also very much curious about this answer myself

I think they explained it somewhere in the patch notes. They changed the system for saving and a lot of features have been added or changed. Old saves should still work but they might have some bugs. Probably a good idea to start a new game.

I was going to ask the exact question. If it completely breaks the game with a old save file i'd gladly start over. If it's just minor bugs and whatnot I'd rather not. Booted up old save and it seems fine and I'm not willing to erase my data to find out if anything changes. Someone do it and find out haha! Heard the beginning has a more babied up hand holding tutorial but I could care less bout a new implemented tutorial. (I love you game devs, I know you guys put work into it) Not worth so many hours if it's just to experience a new beginning with tutorial and a slightly different start of the journey.

If you don't want direct and simple answers, don't ask dumb easy to answer questions.

It's better to just restart, as there are a number of events and quests that will not trigger properly depending on what you have done it your pre-1.0 save.

The only half reset you can do if you really can't bring yourself to reset entirely is to instead just start a new world. There may be a few quest issues still, but a new world should avoid many of the non-main quest potential bugs.

Yeah you're right. Starting over cause after playing awhile i kind of felt like things weren't working correctly. Ran to talk to the first NPC that gave our first quest to see if I could start anything and there was a "Repair Adventure" option when asking for info. Clicking it did nothing and many other NPC's had blank dialogues when replying so you'd have no idea what they said. I'd take broken English translations over a blank any day. Sucks all my OP stuff and hours of gaming kind of went to waste but oh well. It was an early access game so that's on me. - Thanks for taking the time to reply! Hope this helps others who were looking for answers

You can always just use the Cheat Tool mod to give yourself a head start, It's what I did to get my Black Crow outfit and sword.

I kind of want to play with what little honor I have left cause I know I'll have none by the time I finish the game haha. Did my fair share of stealing from a merchant I teamed with on old save to get unlimited gold/chi etc. I plan to do the same if it hasn't been fixed. We already start with groin kick and that's OP in a way already. Thanks for suggestion though
