The graphics look similar and its very sandboxish like kenshi is, but thats pretty much all that is similar.
The Wuxia / Cultivation style of gameplay being implemented here + custom world building makes this a whole other type of game if you consider the possibilities and experiences that each of us will probably be having as the development for this game continues. Let's toss in mods for the game while we're at it.
Yeah the Kenshi similarities are there, but there seems to be a lot going for this game in a unique way that stands apart from it.
Difficult to die in but easy to get incapacitated/jailed in which entices gameplay where you don't just reset on a failed fight unlike ones where you just die in.
Building and furnishing is similar, as well as creating your own allies.
Its not an exact copy by any means, but the most similar game style that resonates and is known by the vast majority of players would be kenshi, and it is very likely that if you do enjoy kenshi you'd like this game as well.
I have my eye son this and so far they are both rather unique
