Expanding meridians

How do you get a larger meridian board/create new acupoints?
On my first character with 100+ spare chi and nothing to use it on.

You need true method and primordial chaos. The maximum number of meridians as of now is 45.

I've gotten only Primordial Chaos so far. Does it stack with True Method?

To get true chaos I basically just made new world and rushed forbidden city as soon as I could, looked at the health of the top guys (the ones who sit on the chairs in the main room in hall) and checked the guy who had > 150. He had it. Had to have him teach me it 5/6 times to actually learn it properly. Takes 800 favor.
If none of the guys have it, make a new world, try again.
Getting it kind of sucks imo, would be better if it was connected to that one guy who peridiodically checks up on you or some proper questline than an RNG check

Look for a sect leader or NPC with more health than normal, that means they have expanded meridians. Not vigor, but actual health. Make friends or intimacy and ask them to teach you the kung fu.

Nope. If you already have True Method, then Primordial Chaos will not expand your meridians further. I guess they might stack if you do it the other way around (PC first, then TM), but I doubt it.

As far as I'm aware, they do stack. Giving you 45 acupoints when you have both. If True Method gives you 45 acupoints on it's own, then cool, but I'd imagine the vast majority of people will get Primordial Chaos first.

Even if you do get True Method first, you still get the benefits from Primordial Chaos, as it increases your health and gives you 2 levels of Harmony chi. both of which are permanently active.
