You can invite her to follow you and then go a spring, or heal with the meridians.

You cannot just release her near the clinic and expect her to get healed. You must carry her inside the clinic, walk up to a sick bed, select the sick bed, and select "Place on bed". After you do that and IF there is a clinic manager on site, then she will get healed. You can also heal her yourself by using Golden Acupuncture.

Don't need golden acu to heal burn/poison/ice. Just cover them in your magic chi lines like healing yourself. Golden acu is for broken limbs.
You can also just give her poison medicine for poison and fire seems to go down in increments of 3 if you go into water. Clinic is total overkill for this. Given enough time these are ailments the average human npc can and will walk off.

Does it really have to be kenshi to be able to carry an NPC? All you have to do is knock her out and then carry her or heal her youself using Golden Acupunture via the Meridan tab. See screenshot for being able to carry an NPC.

Don't knock out your own allies, they don't like it.
Just use Assist > Cure to try to fix their ailments.
Golden Acupuncture helps by making it so that when you hit a node, it cures all the ailments directly around it.
But it's not always necessary.
You have to cover ALL the injury-nodes though, otherwise nothing happens.

That is only if your character already have Golden Acupuncture (which I stated previously) that you can heal the NPC yourself via meridian/Golden Acupunture. Otherwise, you don't have a choice except to knock the NPC out and carry them to the clinic sick bed. Choosing not to knock them out (no Golden Acupuncture) and obtained -50 affinity vs. having them return to karma when enough ailments builds up to kill the NPC. It's an easy choice.

You don't need Golden Acupuncture to heal burns/poison though (what OP was asking about), you can just cover all the effected meridian nodes and they will heal without it. You only need Golden Acu for things like blindess or broken leg. If you don't have enough Chi to do that, you could also just spend the 100 copper to take them into a spring which will also remove the building ailments without the affinity drop.

If you're a little bit on the rich side, you can buy some Marrow Refining Pills (the red pills) and gift/trade them to your wife. If she isn't actively following you, she'll take it by herself and will be good as new.

Note: the AI's still really finicky. Sometimes they won't do this, sometimes they will. Best to make a backup save so that if your wife doesn't take the pills, you can just reload to before you gave her the pills. That way you won't waste them, at the very least.
