Question two no idea.
Select all the items you want to decompose on the left, then click decompose equipment on the right.
This one is definitely on me-- pretty sure it's like right there in the crafting menu too..
A lot of people miss things that seem to be obvious because they only associate poison or other status effects with the tile environments instead of the many consumable items in the game that are also sold by boat traders.
I have done everything, except for the new imperial and assassin systems. I'm waiting for the bugs to be ironed out before jumping back into the game.
If you want the women, money and power than the best combo is farmer with leechcraft.
There is a skill called "Golden Acupuncture" you can learn from any doctor in the game, it can cure nearly any ailment. It opens the NPCs meridians window, and you just connect the line to the ailment until it vanishes. You can also use it on yourself to heal your own ailments once you have it unlocked "equipped" in your meridians menu.
It's an invaluable skill / must have for all players in my opinion.
Ohhhhkay thank you that makes sense. I thought that might be the case but I couldn't find a definitive answer.
I usually just have golden Acupuncture equipped to my 2nd or 3rd meridian load out since I would only use it to heal anyways. So I can switch to it only when needed.
