The cure menu works when they're conscious, it just doesn't do anything.
When i'm 'curing' myself, I just make a loop that includes some of the red icons and they heal while the loop passes through them.
When I try to do that with someone else (or an animal) it doesn't seem to do anything.
same. Currently my main wife has spreading stacks of fire. The unfathomably powerful beggar that forced herself on me may end up becoming the main woman if i can't get my wife's condition cured.
Fire?
I think anti-stringent cures fire and poison, I don't know if you can use it on other people.
Also, doesn't fire just wear off on it's own so long as you're not in a volcano zone?
I'm trying to work out how to build up my heat resistance though, because I need to do quests in a lava-zone.
there is a a fire disease that affects the meridians, and spreads every day at noon. Curing myself is easy, but i can't cure my wife.
Assist > Cure ailments can be used for most meridian problems. Otherwise removing them from team seems to trigger them to seek a doctor. If it's just vigor, just corral them to teleport them back to their pens (ideally in a safe area) or just feed them some food.
Pets don't go to the doctor.
Human Retinue members will, but fixing their vigour problems doesn't actually cure them.
That being said, I managed to fix a follower who'd developed serious Fire Ailment recently.
First of all, I was taught Golden Acupuncture by a clinic-owner who i'd seduced. (I tried to have her teach me normally, but I didn't meet the leechcraft prerequisite, but she just came running up to me and randomly taught me it one day)
Secondly, I noticed that curing meridian problems involves not just passing through the damaged nodes, but linking a bunch of stat-boosting nodes (which oesn't seem to do anything for npcs) and then going back to the core.
if you just link damaged nodes and then go back to the core, it does nothing. I had to pass through 5-10 stat-boosting nodes seemingly at random before the damage started fixing itself.
