I have a similar issue where, even without inner kung fu, or equipment, or anything, even with 200 poison stacks, my venom ailments heal before they reach 10.
I figure I'll try to find the book instead. Maybe the poison sect?
My character also has the poison karma trait.
that's not venom ailment, it just disables the point.
honestly i have no idea why you would ever want to disable a point, but the option is there.
i will admit it using the same icon as venom is confusing though.
One possible reason your ailment stacks are not there might be because of the inner kungfu acupuncture (the inner to heal ailments) perk is turned on. So any ailment that falls on the connection line and immediate hexagon around the acupoint will be healed when the connection line has a complete cycle back to the center.
If so, you can create another set of acupoint connections without anti toxin ailment perk and the acupuncture perk. then switch to that connection when you want to learn the martial art.
when you are done, just switch back to the default connections you were using. But you have to be careful not to loose hp too quick. Hope this helps
