Combat - number of moves
Hello,

Can someone tell me how to increase the number of moves (palm, kick, etc.) I get each turn of a fight ?

I don't understand how I can get more moves to attack my opponents more often than they do.

There's a buncha ways. For starters, doing four of the same move in a row is a combo that draws more. Doing three different types of move triggers a combo too, so having a concealed weapon and normal weapon equipped makes this way easier. This basic concept gets enhanced by other things below.

The Beastmaster inner kungfu gives you one extra move per animal tamed (max 3), so there's a huge boost already. There are a few skills and karmas that offer an extra move or two this way as well but this one is probably the most trivial to get!

The last way is that some weapons have weird traits like "Palm is now considered Weapon" that allow you to string those two together easily, without an omni-move. You can fulfill the requirements for your special attacks more trivially and form more 4-of-a-kind and 3-different-kind combos. I think I've gone well over 25 successive moves by combining the above, but that was pre-patch so some things may have changed.

Also, max technique if you haven't! A training dummy will help you top it off. Getting two omni-moves per turn is crucial. If you've used 4 punches and have one left on the screen, use a changeable move to link it into something else, like a kick, and try to get four of those and so on.

Lastly, the skills you equip determine what moves you draw, so if you do all palm moves you'll easily activate those but won't be able to combo into more and more draws very well! I don't know how many of each you get per skill but having a balance of types seems to help.

Thank you very much, I'll try that. :)

Just one more question : sometimes, when I link to a omni ou change-move bubble, no new bubble appears, meaning I can't get more moves, is that normal ?

An omni into a changeable move? I'm not sure that I've tried them in succession yet, but if there are moves left a changeable move should always let you lead into them! Parts of this are still very mysterious though, so I might be missing something!

also people close by who are in team or follow/protect you help with more moves. Tame animals too.
Because of that i have always a marten and snake tamed. There on charakter and so always help by fights with one or two moves more.

Yes, I noticed that about the animals (my first character was a beast tamer), but I wanted to try to play without pets, hence my difficulties with the number of moves x)

Thanks for the tips !

Your skills = your actions.
Skill 15 (Exterminate) weapon moves = 15 (1 lvl) weapon moves in your hand (look to the left in battle for your number) Total 15

Accordingly, choose 2 types of skills that you will use.
For example, palm + weapon = 4-5 skills for weapons of this type and 1-2 ultimate (can be used immediately at the beginning, for example wave palm)

Example.
If you choose skills with actions
Kick 5
Punch 5
Sword 5
Palm
You will receive 20 moves. From these 20 you get random ones from your deck.
And in the end, you will use the skills much less often.
This means that if you have 5 moves on the field (maximum) then you can get 1 kick 1 sword 1 punch 2 Hidden weapon
and you simply don’t have enough movements to activate the desired skill. What if you build a deck with 2 types of moves? Your attack skills can be used very often.
If you choose
10 weapons and 10 palms. You will get much more benefit from using your skills.

Also, your actions are displayed at the top left where you select your skill deck. Try adding and subtracting skills and you will see that your numbers change.

I just want to know how to get rid of palm moves, for whatever reason my character can only do palm moves, 66 palm moves in deck while everything else is 4-6 moves
