Dear lord is this game poorly optimized
I know being an early access you can't expect for it to be a polished experience but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I believed the game being so simple in terms of graphics wouldn't put much of a challenge but dear lord I can't even play this at the most lowest settings.

Did you read the system recommendations?

I get you. I really enjoy the game but I literally can not run it. I had to finally resort to paying for cloud gaming just to play

Really not to be honestly, but I didn't think I couldn't move this game considering the other things I can play without problem, If my machine can play things like Warhammer 40k dark tide and RDR2 without a problem there shouldn't be a reason for me to believe this game would put my machine in a meltdown.

Ryzen5 3600, 32GB DDR4-3600 and GTX 1070. Quite an outdated setup,
But the game runs well for me.

For a game that doesn't look that grapically intensive it better should with that amount on ram and CPU even if the video card is on the lower range by today standards.
Anyway I just refunded the game, will wait to see if the optimize it on the future to give it another go.

It's actually gotten significantly better over time. On a 12700k and 3090, it used to redline everything and get the room nice and toasty. Now it doesn't even make that PC warm! It also used to stutter regardless of the machine used, but that's gone too. It used to run horrifically on the steam deck, and now it runs passably. I'm actually playing it on a beelink PC with a ryzen APU (so no discrete graphics) on Medium at mostly 60 fps; that's a massive improvement. That thing has 32GB of DDR5 system memory though, so that might be helping it along. When the world gets large the requirements seem to go up a bit, too.

Hopefully it continues to get refined and plays better for you soon!

?? dude how does "paying for cloud gaming" help you to play on your computer? or do you mean buying the game again on another cloud gaming portal?

Geforce now is a service that is free, but you can also pay for it., You use your own library of games, you don't buy anything from them.

If you have a trash pile of a computer, go use them.
