Does this game have an ending?

Im 35 hours in. My Sect owns half the map. more tiles keep popping up. Is there a win state to this game or does it just go on until you decide to return to karma?

I died 3 times so I guess I have 3 ending already, thou the last one is weird since the character step grandmother force him to marry her...

I've also learned every skill from every sect across the map including internal kungfu and Im sitting around 5k HP. Im talking to this homie with 30k HP, I've learned all of his abilities and dont have nearly his HP. I dont know if this is just a beta and this guy is meant to be unbeatable or what but I simply cannot possibly win the tournament

at least you don't get killed in friendly sparring like I did, that guy ended up becoming my arch enemy lol...he kill me 2 times already, one during friendly sparring and another when he saw me fighting bandit...I really want to kill that little ♥♥♥♥ Bao Xinyi but he have like 20k hp :/

charas with 20k+ hp have the Pristine karma. If you unlocked it for your next chara you can have it too with some inner kungfu combined.

How do I get that? Theres no demons on this map and I have no diea what the tool tip is talking about

your chara need to return to karma while having one of the following conditions:

have one million coins (not sure if it is ok having them in a chest better on chara)
having 30 enemy's
having 30 lover's (not sure but i think 15 are enough, just safe and load if not)

When you have fulfilled one of them by return to karma. On the end of what you did in that chara's life there should be at the end, one point with you slayed demon of greed/lust and pristine karma for the next chara should available.

find it quite hard to steal/earn 1m, try the enemy route but not easy to fight a whole sect off before getting 30 enemies lol

tbh running around insulting people (start enmity option) with 30 people then dying was super easy
even if you do get caught (just be careful, its not hard not to) they just jail you or destroy your kungfu most of the time, and you dont need to fight anyway
as soon as you have 30 enemies you die, so whatever else happens is not important

It would seems like there is an end game location far away in the ocean, where the guardians there will sneak attack you before killing you, the weakest I think have like 30k vigor.

Yap, just went there and got knocked the f out before I even know what happened. Not sure how to even take on one guy. I can already beat all other sect leaders in one punch yet these guardians I can't even touch them a bit lol

the whole point of them is to capture you (for story mode stuff i wont talk about)
they are very killable but can be hard cuz they keep attacking you out of battle (and they are strong)

We do not currently have anything for after them AFAIK tho.
there is a "gate to heaven" you can open, but then nothing atm

Ah, was wondering if there was actually a way to enter the Heavenly Realm. I have a save file with my character being right in front of the temple. Been abusing the ♥♥♥♥ out of the guardians to test different builds, lol. From what I can tell, the only effective "endgame" builds are Wave Palm/Purple Haze Qi variants or Illusion/Acupoint stunlock setups. Then again, it's still my first character. I'd imagine you can just farm pets and get high enough stats to bulldoze through anything with the Beast Tongue karma + Dragon Form or by just unlocking the Pristine Karma Inner Kungfu.

EDIT: Star Transfer + Flower Transposition builds work, as well. You can completely deprive the opponent of skills and moves, using those 2 skills.

snow melting sword with purple chi actually better, it totally bypass their resistance and defense, one cheese that I found to beat the guardian is by disallowing them from going to their skill casting phase by simply conceding then attack them again

Truthfully, the actual sword skill doesn't really matter, as long as the Inner Kungfu in question is activated. You can literally just equip a bunch of low cost sword skills and achieve the same result. They'll all hit like a truck with Purple Haze.
On a side note, Snow-Melting Sword being the multi-hit skill it is, can get you in trouble against high Spike DMG opponents. It's a great skill, don't get me wrong. In fact, I use it myself, on my Purple Haze setup. It's just not necerssarily the best option in every given scenario. I don't know about your world, but in mine there's one NPC in particular, who has over 30k HP and starts the fight out with with 10 Golden Shield stacks + over 300 Spike stacks.

I killed all guardians using following build (i will name most important things): True Method + Purple Cloud Qi (for huge dmg bonus to weapon attacks as True Method gives me like 5k energy (not vigor) and Purple Cloud Qi give bonus to weapon attacks equal to 50% of energy (it can oneshot many opponents which have less than ~6 if you use right skill (i will mention which one further), Art Of Marrow Refining. My Chi of Moon was lvl 5 (giving increasing moon skills by 250%. And for the skills: you need only two: Snow-melting Sword and Acrtic Palm to hugely boost dmg of Snow-melting Sword as it gains addition attacks from cold stacks on enemy. I'd recommend putting Snow-melting Sword in first pos and arctic palm whatever you want to. Because True Method give you free skill at the start of battle (this what is most important for us) and arcitc palm costs only 2 palm moves. So at the start of battle you try your best to get Arctic Palm and in the next round you use first Arcitc Palm and then Snow-melting Sword and the get oneshotted.

Also want to mention that i got 4 Sect Master with me (they teleport to you once you're ant the Temple) for backup because for some battle i could'nt get Arctic Palm on first round and then enemy will spam skill which gets rid of all your skill you got (except i thing one you got via True Method). So you can call it other strategy to get as many as possible powerful warriors (starting from 10k) because they will spam their skills and damage will be much bigger that damage from your enemy.

After i killed every enemy in the Temple i released my previous character i think this is the last thing you can do in the game for now
