Why can you die in tournaments?
I didn't know you can get killed in kungfu tournaments. This defeats its purpose. Why would you ever participate knowing you can die? There is no reward thats worth risking your life over...

I have but come on. Are there no rules in place? Killing your oponent = you forfeit your life or something like that. Or else who would want to participate? Unless the reward is an item that makes you a god like powerhouse.

Edit: Nevermind I was looking at this wrong. aparantly you can fight to the death in the tournament, I don't know why.... Theres a concede button at the bottom once the skull symbol appears. I was thikning once the yellow bar empties, the fights over...

There are some who would shrug and say, "no risk, no reward." If you only ever spar wearing protective pads, for example, you're going to crumple to the floor when you get hit for real because your body won't be used to the pain of taking real hits. Likewise, if you know your life is on the line, you're going to fight differently, and that is going to teach you things you can't learn from a safe sparring session - like dealing with adrenaline.

Yeah but in this case its either you are 100% going to die or you concede and live. Theres no other factors in between,..or maybe there are, I don't know...

Wuxia has its rules - and the option to break the rules. You also get the choice to kill or spare your opponent during the tournament, and if you do chose to kill, that's a -5000 attitude. Very realistic no?
