- 4 main buttons
- 3 DPAD buttons
- LT,RT,LB,RB
- L joy for movement
Some of these could be overlapped, based on context (like the LT,RT,LB,RB), so the 11 button mapping could be possible.
If that helps in any way, Rewired plugin is used internally, using DirectInput on Windows.
Really curious about your use case for this - are you just testing the possibility, or doing it for accessibility reasons?
I usually prefer to play games with a controller, but found it awkward to use an analog stick (i.e. relative input) to move a mouse-type (absolute) cursor. Wiimote+Nunchuk works well for several other games that similarly have movement and pointing (FPS - Metroid Prime Trilogy; RTS - Pikmin series). I already have the hardware to use Wii controllers for the Dolphin emulator, so wanted to try it out in this game.
My other Wii controller possibility would be the 'Controller Pro U' that can act as a sideways Wiimote or Wiimote + Classic Controller, though I don't know how all the buttons would be mapped in that case.
