It'a "rail shooter" game — it means that you can't move by yourself because your character walks automaticaly — you can only aim and shoot. So you need to use your gamepad or mouse\keyboard to move your crosshair and shoot enemies untill they die; and do not let them hit you of course. Besides, you can shoot various special objectis to find secrets, items, or unlock alternative path for your walkthough (by shooting at the lock on a closed door, as example).
In other words, this game is some kind of virtual shooting range - so everything you need is good aim and quick reaction to beat that game.
Everything works fine. Especially mouse for better aim. *you know what i mean.jpg*
I used to play House of the Dead when I was younger, at the arcades. I know how it works gameplay wise. (Looking at my message I do see that I did explain myself bad there).
All I wanted to know was if playing with mouse and keyboard is alright or, it's mandatory to play with sinden light gun.
Besides, you can configure it for your personal preference: buttons, sensitivity, etc.
