Game messed up my entire PC

After playing the game for about thirty minutes, my only issue was the occasional framerate drop, which I tried to fix by lowering the quality of the graphics of the game, but was unsuccesful. I tried turning the game off and then back on, thinking maybe I just need to reload the game, but the result was even worse with the framerate pernamently dropped and the musi being all distorted. I turned the game off but the effect carried itself to windows and now everything is literally going at quarter the framerate with sounds being completely distorted, I dont know what I should do now... help?

♥♥♥♥... if it's "carried over" to other games you may want to do a checkup on your graphics and sound cards/drivers, Just judging by what you said, seems like a corruption/glitch/something may of borked them a little, since it's happening in other games.

But that's just me guessing...still, it doesn't hurt to see if something is actually wrong with those, just to be sure.

So Windows is running worse, but are other games on your PC running worse? Have you restarted your PC? Have you updated Windows or your GPU drivers recently?

Ive restarted it many times, but I havent tried other games. It got to a point where my pc wouldnt even boot properly after restarting, so I reverted it to a previous point of update and it turned on, but the slowness is still there. Ill try running a pc cleaning program and an antivirus, just to be sure. if that doesnt work, then I dont know what else I can do.

I really don't think this is the fault of the game, being entirely honest. If I were you I would just do a full reset on your PC and redownload all of your important programs after

My first guess is your video drivers got corrupted somehow. Try reinstalling/update the video drivers. Make sure to do a clean installation. Maybe download and use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to make sure the old driver is completely removed.

I second reinstalling your display drivers via DDU. Make sure you use DDU in safe mode.
