Retro-shooter guns aren't cheap either, but they work great.
I'm wondering specifically about the Retro-Shooter light guns because that's what I have.
I'm wondering what folks are comparing the Sinden lightguns to when they say they are expensive. They are a bargain for what they accomplish! And once set up, they work very well. $100 for a lightgun that works with virtually any arcade emulator is a bargain, especially when a decent xbox controller is $80
The Retro-Shooter light guns are nearly $250 on sale and require a proprietary console.
Maybe I should get commission from Sinden XD

In all seriousness though, as I already said, I'm interested in the compatibility of the RETRO-SHOOTER guns with this game because that is what I have.
NO, RETRO SHOOTER LIGHT GUNS DO NOT WORK WITH THIS GAME.
Which in turn begs the question of why the hell they even wasted time making this piece of garbage?
Out of 2200 games, the only one I've ever refunded.
You cannot properly play on modern, non CRT screens because of how plasma and LCD screens work and how the guns are made to work with the "wavelength" of the CRT.
This game is meant for PC and consoles so it's obvious why it does not work (unless you configure a sinden).
Well, you can technically get to try setting up a wiimote if you get a sensor bar on PC (with a bit of tinkering) but that's still dependant on wiimote games.
That said, nothing you said about CRT screens has anything to with it.
It turns out that the arcade mod does allow the Retro Shooter light guns to work after all. I finally found a video about it on YouTube. I don't know why I missed it before.
I also couldn't find the right files for the mod, which also pissed me off, so I refunded the game and it's too late to try it now.
I may repurchase it the next time it goes on sale.
The dolphinbar allows control of mouse cursor with a Wii Remote so it functions almost perfectly. This game and Blue Estate just work with the buttons, too.
or
OpenFire
(you can purchase cheap Gun4IR through Aliexpress [make sure to get the USB version with recoil+rumble - ask sellers! and then purchase the license)
or
you can do your own through OpenFire.
To add to that, it works even better with a Wiimote if you use Touchmote and Demulshooter in conjunction with the dolphinbar on Mode 4.
But it is easier to set up Gun4IR with the game. Just a matter of convenience over cost.
RETRO SHOOTER is a BRAND of light gun which I specifically inquired about. Beyond that, I've already established that it does work with the correct mod.
I have no interest in buying and using Sinden.
I have no interest in buying and using a Wiimote with the Dolphinbar.
And I have no interest in buying and using the Gun4IR.
