When can we expect a patch?

Typos/grammatical errors in-game and in the achievements, framedrops, etc etc.

I had a crashing issue when I started the game for the very first time, hasn't happened since then. The game is just poorly optimized if you don't have a high-end PC.

Raw input is the biggest concern for me. The typos I think is because they aren't from the US (I think?)

There is a mod that adds raw input. It's been out since day 2.

yeah nice one but it is not the perfection solution, it breaks some commands and options in the game, you have to make an AHK script to have the weapons selection as an example....

It will be like Panzer Dragoon, no support for this game, the community is the only way to make this game playable, sad reality. what scares me is that it's the same studio that will develop the sequel... Jesus !

The mod does NOT add raw input. If it did, 2 player would be a seamless patch, but it still needs work because it converts to the less accurate joysticks.

While the patches that have come from the community are excellent at adding features that should have been in the final game (or at least attempt to), it's really a shame we have to rely on these community-made patches to enjoy the game more.

Of course the mod adds raw input. That is what make it even possible to play with lightgun. 2 players is a different issue entirely.

We need the developer to officially add the 2 player raw imput capability so that we aren't hampered by the inability to switch weapons. Plus they are working on the HOTD2 remake. If they don't make this remake right for lightgun owners, then we're going to be much more cautious handing our money over for the next one.

The game is great, I have no problem with the content, I love this take on it. I just need plug and play 2-player action for my Sinden guns

While I also have enjoyed the content of the game, it leaves me wondering if they will add the "Training Mode" and "Boss Rush" modes into The House of the Dead 2: Remake, as they appear in the original home releases (namely The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return on Nintendo Wii). It also would be nice to have those modes in this game as well.

Thought to update this. I went looking through the dev's post history (BluNectarine), and on June 1st, under the "A Simple (Or Not) Wishlist" thread, they had said:

"Thank you for your feedback, we're working on colored blood option atm :)"

This leads me to believe we are to expect a patch/update sometime soon, which is good.

I have the crash issue on loading screen...and it is june 19 !!! I have ask for a refund. The problems should have been solve by the time the game was release....2 mouths !

I honestly cannot blame anyone for getting refunds or not buying this game due to the poor optimization this far out of launch. The devs keep saying "We are looking into this." or "we will have a patch sometime soon." and it is unacceptable to not even hear of an update. This leaves me genuinely concerned for The House of the Dead 2: Remake.
