If you have a 3d printer, there are even some good designs for the shell you can use

As amazing as the product looks, it's just so expensive and out of reach for some.
Are there any known alternatives for a PC Lightgun?
And I don't mean 3D printing or DIY kit set ups as I know I won't be able to figure that out in one kit alone.
To use the Macro/Wide lenses, I had to tape/glue the lenses to the front of my Wiimotes (use double sided tape first to make sure where the sweet spot is for the Wiimote's IR camera) and modify the Nyko Perfect Shot shell so the lenses can be on the Wiimote and still fit in the shell. I had to file down the front of the Perfect Shot to make the modified Wiimote fit. It's the same lenses that Gun4IR use and include for their guns.
DemulShooter has native support for HotD:R, but only with the Arcade Mod. Because DemulShooter has native support and converts controller input to whatever output it uses, you can set the Dolphinbar to mode 4 which makes it so you can connect up to 4 Wiimotes at a time (essentially Wii Mode).
Then, use Touchmote to convert the Wiimote inputs to Xbox 360 outputs (e.g. Wii pointer> 360 Left Stick). After you have both Wiimotes set up through Touchmote, open DemulShooter_GUI and choose the corresponding controller from the drop-down menu. The current controllers are usually at the very top of the list.
Once you have your Wiimotes set up with DemulShooter_GUI, close it out and make a new text file. Open it, then type in "DemulShooterX64.exe -target=windows -rom=hotdra" (without the quotes) then save it. Doesn't matter what you name it, just something that you know what it's for, then change the file type from ".txt" to ".bat". You'll need to open the batch file every time before you play HotD:R with your Wiimotes.
And boom! Cheap way to play HotD:R 2-player with Wiimotes! Personally, I don't notice much lag if any using the Wiimotes to play HotD:R. It's just as good imo as some of the more expensive Lightgun options out there.
Only downside to this is the extensive set up. You can also set the Wiimotes up where A is the reload button, then in Touchmote, set it where it activates the A button at certain angles (such as angled downward) so it only reloads the gun when you angle the Wiimote down.
I pulled the trigger and ordered 2 Sinden's with recoil as a Christmas gift to myself with the money everyone gave me and a little of my savings. They arrived about a two weeks ago, so I'm still going through and getting every game and emulator setup to use them, but so far it works great for many games. Now I just need a good 50 inch tv to hook up to my PC! LOL
If the price is really an obstacle, just get a Dolphinbar and WiiMote. It's what I was using for a long time, but I'm not going back after using the Sinden. I'd used other IR light guns, and they perform roughly as well as a WiiMote and Dolphinbar, so they aren't worth the cost in comparison.
Hi! Could you please assist me, connecting my Wiimotes to Touchmote? i can not get them connected. Dolphinbar is set to mode 4 and the controller is connected to my dolphinbar
