More detailed tutorials, please!

I'm stuck on a few annoying points in this game that I'm sure are simple to solve but I can't find the answers anywhere! Having more detailed tutorials would really help. Two points that I would love help with before I rage quit:

1) The filter coffee machines. I've put a paper in the machine but when I try and add coffee it has the 'fill' option crossed through. I've tried beans and ground coffee but nothing.

2) The sugar syrup. It won't let me add this to anything. Is there a tool I'm missing since it's not in a bottle like the others? The other baristas have been using it but I just can't.

So far I've had to remove the recipes for filter coffee and the frappes off my menu but it's very frustrating! Any help would be very appreciated.

Edited to add: Is there a way to put more coffee cups over with the other baristas? I have two and every time they step in front of me to get a cup it will freeze the pour and not allow me to do anything until they leave. I've taken to standing in some strange places to prevent this but I would love to have them much more independent and away from my side!

For filter coffee - you should fill the back part of the machine with coffee beans. Which machine do you have? I can go back to the old ones and check for you.
Sugar Syrup - I'm pretty sure its empty if you can't use it. There is barely any in each bottle, only enough for maybe 2-3 drinks which is annoying. I had this issue.. then I realized the other baristas were using it all by the time I picked it up to make my drink.
If your just starting I wouldnt do any of the difficult drinks, they take up way too much time. The frappes gave me hell,I only made them for the achievement.
Unfortunately no... the baristas have to come bother you on your side, the only place to put cups is the default spot. I wish they would throw out the products they use, but they leave empty containers behind, like the sugar syrup. And even though they updated the game they still interrupt my coffee making. For the filter coffee machines, most of them you'd have to fill the paper filter with ground coffee before you put the filter in the machine.
Trust me! I was lost on this one for a bit myself as to why I couldn't put the grounds in after the filter was put in! XD

The problems are mainly caused by baristas. We continue to work on baristas.
