As it is, you will just have to use standard water-conservation methods. Stay cool (bring salt water to wash in), keep your water in the least evaporation-prone containers you can, etc. The well will slowly generate dirty water over time, similar to the puddle in the Dark Cave. Move any clean water in the reservoir (which is subject to evaporation) into the cistern (which isn't) ASAP. You can survive by ferrying salt water from the Bay to the Secret Valley and purifying it with an alembic; you can carry two clay jugs without being overloaded, which is a bit more than a day's worth. Collect the dirty water from the Dark Cave every couple of days, and use up the dirty water in the puddles in the Wetlands before dipping into any water you have stored in non-evaporating containers like the cistern.
A final option is you can eat aloe gel to get hydration but it is a powerful laxative so be very careful on how much you're eating
Grandpa doesn't need much water. Two alembics or one alembic and well should be enough to hydrate you and grandpa
Also coconuts. Coconut water is nice if you don't drink to much of it. Also any of its downsides don't work on Grandpa, so its good Idea to drink normal water yourself and coconut water for Grandpa
