How to boil Spider Lily?
Ground Spider Lily doesn´t seem to combine with watered coconut shells. Do I have to just eat it raw or there is another way to get the antibiotic? I just got attacked by a komodo lizard and got some injuries. Is this the end or there is something I can do?

I have 2 scratches and a lizard bite, I have aplied leaf dressings on all of them, drinked 2 kava analgesics and now I´m wondering what is the next step to heal the wounds. As I said I have grounded spider lily and the description says it can be boiled but no idea how.

Edit: Mistery solved. I boiled the water first and then it lets you combine. Problem now is I don´t really know if my condition is improving or if am suposed to do something else. Any help is apreciated

Keep your wounds clean too. Lizard bites get reinfected real quick, which contributes to your bacterial load. I recommend looking for your immune system stat and pinning it to keep an eye on it. If you see it going down, that means it is time for more tea.

Ginger tea also boosts the immune system, but to a lesser degree. It helps a lot more with dealing with the nausea from fever

Spider Lilly is an antibiotic, so it won't do much for bites, unless they are severely infected to the point that you now have a systemic infection. The main problems caused by lizard bites are the bites themselves, which get infected easily as mentioned, and the pain, which hurts your mood.

For the bites, keep them bandaged and check them frequently; if the bacteria count gets too high (more than maybe 15-20%), wash the wound with water or apply aloe gel to remove bacteria. There is a progress counter on the wound that shows how close it is to being healed.

If the pain is hurting your mood to the point that you are at risk of depression or insanity, kava tea is a good painkiller. Ginger tea also helps, but to a lesser extent. As the wounds heal, they will become less painful.

You need to boil the water first before adding ground spider lily. Take your coconut shell full of fresh water, place it in the fire for 30 minutes, when it dings you'll see it's now called boiling water and has a temperature icon, it will cool into fresh water again in another 30 minutes, you need to add ground spider lily to it before it cools, then you can drink it to boost your immune system. Spider lily tea only helps when you get sick from too much bacteria getting in your system. you can avoid needing it if you wash the bite out immediately after getting it and continue to keep it clean.

Leaf dressing is the worst of all the wound coverings, you should cover the bite with an ash dressing (1 ash + small cloth) that will slow down the rate of infection. Aloe gel will help it heal faster, you need to apply it directly to the wound and not to your body. You get the recipe for it with the herbology skill.

If water is a concern, you can also wash the wound with aloe gel while gaining it's other benifits of slight pain reduction and faster healing.

The red + on your wound has a number by it that tells you how much you've healed. Hope this helps!

Thank you guys! your comments were very helpful to understand the healing mechanics. I think it would be nice if there was a tutorial or something the first time you get injured.
