There's currently no difference between ground types, they all feel the same, but now that you mention it, I think I'll add something there so like you say, the beach is more comfortable to sleep on if you have no bed. :D
Building things by weaving palm fronds is quite cool. Actually, there's two new items coming tomorrow that are made by weaving palm fronds, a basket for storage and a hat to protect you from the sun.
I'm unsure about the "woven palm frond" carpet to sleep on the cave floor, as I don't want to create blueprints that are too situational and specialized and I believe if one was to build a base in a cave, it would be better to build a hammock or wooden bed, or even a snake grass one, rather than spending the time on covering the ground on woven palms. :)
A carpet from a loom could even more cozy and would be softer for sleeping. Do you have a bed, does a carpet just make you happier ?!
But maybe that also destroys the ballancing ?!
Perk suggestion: Cave Dweller - some boost to happiness or sanity for being in a cave
I thought I had to complete every item in the guide before, so I have to build mud house. Now it doesn't look like that. Maybe it just need to finish the exclusive task.
