devs still not fixing the stuttering issues.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the game.

I really wanted to play and enjoy the remake, but the stuttering, Denuvo, and EA basically abandoning this port prevent me from doing so.

Hopefully, they will launch a patch to fix this, but I highly doubt that.

Right now I dont know why but my gpu has been giving me this error:

Im on the latest driver release and dont understand how this game can still be crashing like this. I love the game but its demotivating the ammount of crashes ive gotten.

EA dropped further investment for the game after just a couple months after the game release.
They never fixed the traversal stutter and no it doesn't matter what hardware you're running. (7800X3D, 4090)
Still hasn't had Denuvo removed after over a year from the release.
Broken HDR for my 27GR95QE-B and I did it through Special K.
The ambience, gameplay and story are fantastic, it's a shame they're being shadowed by the drop of further support for the game.

Bought the game, it crashed twice while going through the settings. I finally thought I got it figured out and it crashed during the first cutscene with a DirectX error. I'm willing to go through forums and such for certain things but I shouldn't have to do that just to get a game to run that was released in 2023. My drivers are completely up to date by the way. Running on Nvidia 4070 and Ryzen 7 3700x.

Game itself is great, but the stuttering drove me crazy.

I bought the game and was forced to create an EA account to launch game. Next day I received an email stating that my account was suspended due to a user agreement violation with no other explanation.
No time for this. Steam refunded the full purchase.

I love the OG Dead Space so much and hoped I could love the Remake just as much, if not even more, but sadly this isn't the case. The technical state of the game is simply atrocious and the true horror experience I currently have. My RIG is well above the recommended specs (i7-10700KF, RTX3080, 32GB Ram, NVMe SSD) and the game still runs like a turd.

- constant smaller frame drops for no reason
- DLSS and FSR are both borked (VRS setting you can't turn off which results in muddy/blurry textures)
- buggy ragdoll/collision physics (enemies can get stuck easily in tighter spots)

And I could even live with those problems if it wouldn't be for the major problem I currently have:

- after returning to the Kellion - if the game runs for ~5 minutes - cutscenes trigger a bug which locks my FPS around 10-20 regardless of the settings I have until I restart the game making it simply unplayable for me. tabbing out and back in may help some others but it doesn't for me

I simply can't recommend the game in its current state. The gameplay and atmosphere are both still great so if the devs fix those problems I will obviously change my review. Until then, it will remain negative.

CPU usage spikes that result in huge framerate drops. I think we all know what's causing them: DENUVO.

This is the last straw. In future I will not be spending a penny on games using that sh*te show of a malware.
