Just in case, here's a short vid i found that can help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PRFhhZVBis
If you have engaged the crane (where marker it taken away) you should just have to head towards hanger bay (the large room where the Kellion wrecked in beginning of game)
Sorry, you´re right its the hangar bay, i need to meet kyne but there´s no one there. the crane already took away the marker, i found out that there should be a quarantine battle before i reach the hangar bay but there´s nothing happening. There´s no other way aside loading a previous chapter?
It originally happened in Dead Space 2008 because of high frame rates, and also causing lots of other issues, like falling through elevators and doors just not opening at all (tick-rate issues).
If you saved upon having this issues, you're screwed entirely but, If you have a saved file before the issue... then you should try capping your frames at 60 or less (2008 coding was tied to 30 frames so if lower frame rate does work then 30 frames will give you 0 issues because of the engine tick-rate) to see if it's still a tick-rate issue (as the game may or may not be an actual remake but, more a re-design since there are still the same issues with the 2008 in the 2023 version, as people are saying and I've seen it when the game came out as well)
