The Hunter (spoilers for those who haven't made it that far)

As the Hunter, is Brent Harris aware of what he is? He didn't die after being injected with the corruption. So it makes you wonder if Brent Harris is still in there somewhere.

That is a very interesting question, I think there isn't a single piece of human left in him since this is a case with every necromorph, but I think there is room for discussion, since this is not what you'd call a typical necro.

I don't think there is much of him left after he and most others are affected by the marker, let alone by the time he has become a monster. About all I think you could argue is that he is aware of what is happening on some level, but has no control anymore (like I believe the wall creatures that spawn the projectile enemies are).

Yeah, it's really messed up. You know, I watched a video from Roanoke gaming and he said the wall guardians are still alive, and aware of what's happening, even if they can't control themselves anymore.
