Game is easy on Impossible mode honestly. Just upgrade suit and plasma cannon and nothing else.

Dying sucks but you know the stakes when going in and dying at the refuel is pretty early into the run. I died on the valor to engine fire jets. That was 5-6 hours of a run lost to the void. Yeah it sucked and I didn’t come back for a month but I came back and took extra care and beat the rest no problem. Got my foam finger.

When I started my run on impossible new game, doing it plasma cutter only to knock out more achievements, reading the prompt I thought I could only save ONCE and not only have on save SLOT.

I saved at the engine room and went to the end of the game then crashed right before the cutscene at the end before setting the marker on the pedestal

I was so pissed it took me three days to go back. So yeah dying at refuel is nothing lol

All you have to do is play the Hard Mode once and then come up with a better plan to avoid dying in the Quick Time Events.

Weapon upgrades play a big part in your success. Normally, you would try to max out your plasma cutter and then your armor.

The other weapons that I recommend are the line gun and the force gun, and finally the contact beam for boss fights.

I completed Impossible difficulty without dying, usually just save-scumming and quitting before death if I thought I was having a rough time.

I don't know if it helped but I backed up my impossible save files into a separate folder as well, just in case I really f'ed up.

Why even attempt such a challenge if you don’t wanna deal with the challenge?

They'd never survive DS2 impossible challenge. Just how modern gamers are these days.
