Does this meet requirements?
Hello, I would like to ask if these specs meet the minimum or recommended requirements for this game.

Reason why I ask is, I have had trouble with this game all the time. I game up for a year and then came back to it. It crashes a lot. I find my self saving around every corner.

Thing it, At the final boss, I beat him, Isaac gets into the shuttle, and I can make it as far as him sitting in the seat, then I have to start all over again and again to fight the boss due to crash and , sucks you cannot save directly after beating the boss due to it's tendril blocks the last save station.

Question for Techies.

I searched google for ( i7-8700 any good versus Ryzen 5 5600X,Core i5 11600K )

And it says :

Compared to a Ryzen 5 5600X and a Core i5 11600K, an Intel i7-8700 is considered significantly outdated and not as good, as both newer CPUs offer significantly better performance in both single-core and multi-threaded tasks, making them the better choice for modern gaming and productivity workloads; if you're looking for a new CPU, the 5600X or 11600K are much better options

So, typically, when I got my i7 8700 back in, lets say 2020, it was already outdated according to the net.

But my question is, why are newer and better versions less than i7, like the i5.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about this and trying to under stand. When they make better, and label it, what is the significance to the core and or the brand stamp?

What I mean is, if core i5 is better than i7 now, why is the brand (what I call brand) 5600 better than 8700.

But from what I gather, I'm likely gonna need to update a new graphics card now if likely games like this is gonna cause a problem.

I just cannot get past the final scene isaac leaving the planet after final boss, it just keeps crashing.

UGH, this is so frustrating.

Probably already knows this but this game stutters on every device and hardware due to laziness by EA. They never fixed it because people didn't complain loud enough and simply ended up gas lighting themselves that the obvious stutters at low and high end hardware 'don't exist'. Worst level of copium I have seen in a discussions board xD

you played up until the very end right? Did you notice stutters? Anyways- what is your gpu? If you want perfection re: performance, then no this isn't the game- re4 is the choice over this one.

What chu mean? GPU?

And yes stutters only up towards the end of the game. I already had 80% of it cleared. Left it for a year then started playing again. Didn't notice stutters until I got down to the planet with the final boss.

I am surprised you can run any modern game- you need a gaming gpu- you are using the intel integrated gpu that came with the pc. I would recommend nvidia. I have never had an issue with nvidia cards.

I bet most of the stuttering would disappear if they one day remove the Denuvo malware.

Well you'd lost that bet since the stuttering is due to an engine issue lol

Just like Callisto Protocol, whose devs blamed the Unreal 4 engine. Until they removed Denuvo and most of the stutter went away.

Why do you waste your time on the steam forums playing these mindgames?
Chaz Feb 13 @ 8:35am
Malware?

Also,,,,

Engine issue. Haha, I'm just a gamer wants to relax and have fun after 10 hour shifts.

What are you folks saying?

Big difference between the devs actively trying to blame something else and outlets specifically created to test such things proving that it is, in fact, an engine issue.

Why bring up callisto? It has nothing to do with this game lol

Just an update on this. (Resolved)

I was finally able to finish this game with no stutter and or freezing/crashing.

I simply replaced my Graphics card.

From this:

--------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Device Type: Full Device (POST) Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1B80&SUBSYS_33661028&REV_A1 Device Status: 0180200A [DN_DRIVER_LOADED|DN_STARTED|DN_DISABLEABLE|DN_NT_ENUMERATOR|DN_NT_DRIVER] Device Problem Code: No Problem Driver Problem Code: Unknown Display Memory: 16170 MB Dedicated Memory: 8073 MB Shared Memory: 8097 MB Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) HDR Support: Not Supported Display Topology: Internal

To this,

--------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Device Type: Full Device (POST) Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_2504&SUBSYS_40741458&REV_A1 Device Status: 0180200A [DN_DRIVER_LOADED|DN_STARTED|DN_DISABLEABLE|DN_NT_ENUMERATOR|DN_NT_DRIVER] Device Problem Code: No Problem Driver Problem Code: Unknown Display Memory: 20212 MB Dedicated Memory: 12115 MB Shared Memory: 8097 MB Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) HDR Support: Not Supported Display Topology: Internal

Worked fine. In fact I was amazed and nearly wet my pants was so excited to finally see the ending. Thanks for the support folks.
