Only 30% of players completed the game on medium or higher?
I think it's interesting to see the stats for steam achievements and what people have done in their games and what that might say about how people play the game.

According to the achievements, 30.2% of players have completed the game once on medium or greater, and only 6.7% of players completed NG+ on medium or higher. So not even half of players finished the game and hardly anyone bothered doing a second run in all of these 2 years? That seems kinda bad.

Nothing, you're distracting me with your off topic personal talk about me and what I'm up to.

Where do you work?

Nice edit, kid. I didn't even say that, I guess you're actually illiterate. You can stop posting any time if you don't like my thread.
good job with your thread- over six days you learned nothing about the game and you still want to continue with your nonsense. kekw

Bro you didn't answer my question, I thought you had to answer questions people ask you? Answer the question, bro.

If where we live and what we do isn't relevant to the thread, or if you didn't want to talk about it, why did YOU bring it up?

It's never too late to stop posting, kiddo.

I am not going to have a debate with you and carry out an empirical study in your name to prove the uncontroversial objective fact that horror movies, series, games etc. are by definition designed to trigger unpleasant feelings in the consumer.

At this point I am lead to believe you're just baiting. Or for some reason feeling personally threatened to admit the simple fact that some people are too scared to play horror games. I am not going to continue this pointless discussion anymore.
Do they really though? It's not really even a debate, I just don't know where you're running into horror fans that are scared of horror. Horror people consume this stuff because it's cool, not because they're scared.

You can always see the frequency of story related achievements in games decrease consistently from start to finish. At least it's not a reliable indicator for the quality of a game.
This is pretty much spot on.

I guess I just can't get my head around the idea that so many people buy a game and then never play it. Wouldn't that also then call into question how valuable sales numbers are to how much reach or impact a game had? Like if 10 million people allegedly bought a game but only 1 million people could be bothered to play it and there are only 100-200 people playing online does it even matter that they sold a lot of copies? How many people did it actually reach?

Rockstar had revealed years ago from their internal statistics that less than 5% of players reached the very last mission of GTA4.

Please remember: the biggest IP in the games business, one game in ten years, less than 5%.. :steamhappy:

I can see that for GTA since the main story mission chain is usually really long and all anyone wants to do in that game is drive around and run up a bounty and mess around with cheat codes. That's basically all I ever did and it's all anyone I ever talked to about the game ever did. It's pure brain rot in video game form, you just turn it on and go nuts while you chill.
