Luke Ross dropping new VR mod
Luke Ross just dropped that he's updating the R.E.A.L VR engine and supporting DS2023.

Great time for the game to go on sale!!

He also apparently added a full FPS viewpoint!

Can't wait to try it.

I can't get the game to run in VR with the Luke Ross mod, the realconfig.bat file says it cannot find the game exe file even though the REAL VR files mods are in the same folder. Maybe it only works if the game is downloaded from EA.

Are you running the Early Access version of LRM? It is currently only in that version.

Hello Wazoo, I was trying to use the public version for some reason, checked my confirmation email from Patreon and found the early access files, copied to the main folder and double clicked the realconfig.bat and it initially said REALVR files found, keep or delete, pressed K and then it did it's confirmation thing and that it had found the game and made t he necessary changes.
Ran the game and started playing in VR !
Thanks to you it made me check my email and to find the correct files, I had given up until then, cheers for your help.
It is so impressive! Crisp, running well, no bugs or crashes, incredible lighting, scale and colours. Very important and cool that you can switch between first and third person with just a button press! Luke Ross outdid himself. So many people wished for this game in vr, and I can now understand.

Hi mirp, I only played for a few minutes as it was late and needed to get back to some kip but will be playing it plenty more today, oohhh yeahhh!
Agreed, Luke has done a phenomenal job indeed, hats off to him. There are some clever people about. I wouldn't have a clue where to even start to make a mod!
I wonder why it was never officially a vr title, perhaps the devs didn't think players would want it
Imagine if they added official vr option now, how many more sales would they get!
Nearly forgot, yep, defo gonna use the first person mode 😎👍.
Cheers
