Are we playing the same game?
Its 7 chapter on "Impossible" and Im rolling my face in Nodes, Plasma Cutter Ammo, 20k Credits and Big Medkits
Do you even try to play the game?
The remake is way easier than the OG. So yeah, nice try, troll.
This.
I tried to see how high of a record I could get if I sell EVERYTHING I don't need (though I was played on normal).
By the time I was ready to leave the Ishimura to go to the colony, I had upgraded EVERYTHING for my suit, plasma cutter, and contact beam.
And yet I still had 450,000 credits and 15 power nodes which I had no use for.
The only time the headshot is useful is against the immature guardians, since they don't have tentacles yet.
If that's not the case and you're still having medkit scarcity problems, I suggest stocking up more heavily when you get to stores. The economy system is there as a soft buffer against poor RNG - if you aren't finding enough, buy them outright. I find a good number to try and stay at is 3-4 medium health kits.
Shoot the legs out shoot the arm off rip off said arm and fling it at the feker they are clearly getting too close to you.
Going on a limb here (pun intended) and assuming you're body shotting necromorphs and not going for the arms and legs. This nearly triples the shots required to kill and gives them plenty of time to close the distance and deal damage. Always shoot the legs first so they can't charge you anymore.
