Once you go there, you should see the Dead Space 2023 Folder. Open the folder, go to settings, and then steam. That's where the save files are.
That being said, I found that you can't actually deleted those files when the game is closed. You have to open the game, find the folder, and THEN delete those files. Otherwise, for some reason if you close the game and delete the files, the moment you open the game again those files come right back.
I had the same problem with my Bioshock 1 and 2 remastered games. Nothing too annoying, just somewhat weird.
