You can't just comment things like "Dead Space 3 is my favorite." Not 'round here, partner.
If they keep the same design for DS2, it's going to be really weird. Like, I get that Isaac has canonical mummy issues but it's still weird to have Nicole look old enough to be his mother.
Nicole looks fine, but Isaac need to get a face lift just a bit
DS2 is pretty well off and still holds up. Hell, the remake took most of it's mechanics from it. Honestly, if there was a remake, it'd be more like the Demon Soul's remake. A graphical overhaul, but same in design.
DS3 has a good amount of flaws, both in terms of gameplay and story. I think a remake is far more necessary compared to DS2.
I don't think anyone would miss Robert Norton. Although I actually liked Carver, it's just too bad 70% of his story and character development was locked behind coop and supplementary material.
I would vote to remake DS2, but reimagine DS3 entirely. DS3 was ruined by EA's meddling.
Well a lot of the improvements were added into the remake, like having a voice protagonist for example. Honestly though, I'd like to see the Dead Space 3 we were supposed to get. It was deemed "too dark" by EA's overseers and they also forced coop and microtransactions to be added. If you're curious about all of that, check out the GVMERS video on Youtube "The Rise and Fall of Dead Space"
Big difference between "bombed" and "wasn't a big enough hit" lol. You can't really say a game bombed that's sitting at a 91 on Steam and 89 on Metacritic. Also, just because a 2 remake isn't greenlit right now doesn't mean never.
-Less microtransactions in potential future Dead Space remakes or sequels
