Bugged Wall Enemies

Just wanted to know if anyone encountered the bug where you shoot a wall necromorphs tantacles off and it gets immortal but can still kill you if you get to close?

it doesn't happen often but damn that's a few reloads i dont want for the hardcore difficulty :/

I'm not sure about immortal but taking out the tentacles at once doesn't seem to kill it. I just usually shoot over and over until it's dead.

i think i got it, it's just that this enemy may put out some more tentacles after the first ones. after those are gone they definetly die.

i wasn't doing it right, gotta pause attacking it until the tentacles come out then hit it pulse mine or other weapon

i think it doesn't take damage when there's no tentacles

Yeah the tentacles are the only vulnerable place.

You mean that dragging tentacle where you shoot the one spot before it drags you off to die? Never encounter that bug. I have encountered many bugs, like necromorphs walking past me when i open a door to a room and not attacking. But not an immortal necromorph
