Weird glitch on chapter 11

Had this weird glitch on chapter 11 where supposedly I have to meet kyne at the hangar bay- she didn't appear for me twice, I decided to do the side quests and return back to MQ after.. it works. Her space shutter flew in. But now, I got this new glitch where I'm at this quest of meeting Kyne at the shuttle. The dialogue/ cut scene didn't pop up for me. Lol. Tried restarting/ quit the game doesnt work either.

Have you tried loading an earlier save? I just had a glitch in Chapter 11 too where when you leave the flight lounge to go to Kyne, the room quarantines itself and you can't go back. Restarting the game didn't help since it just would happen again, so I tried leaving the flight lounge then immediately going back in before the door closed. This caused the quarantine to trigger and let me kill the enemies in the room.

Oh! We have the exact same glitch it seems! Haha! Yes, Kyne was stucked in between the fences and CS refuses to load for me. So what I did was, there was 2 exit, I exited out from the left door to hangar bay, after this it kinda fixed itself.

How is this not fixed? Earlier saves don’t work, restarting the game does not work. The quarantaine once worked but I died. But then I could not try it again. That is ridiculous. You can always try again in dead space. I don’t remember last night how the quarantine activated because it should just activate. It is part of the story, so frustrating.

No, I just tried exiting the other door and it worked for me.

So you went to the hangar bay with the left door. Then you went back and the shuttle arrived or did the quarantine started and you had to kill the necromorphs to progres??

Havent played it for a while but i think for my case the quarantine started before the space ship CS. Did you managed to get pass the quarantine event?

The problem is that the quarantine does not start when I continue towards that door. I can just go through the door, then to the right and another door. But then the shuttle does not arrive, I am basically standing there and there is nothing I can do…

Do the side quests and complete them, that might reset the quest line. At least it worked for me.

I did the side quests and got this master key but the quarantine still does not happen…

Then I have no idea. Maybe try to contact support will be your best bet.

Okay so the last update I reload an older save which is somewhere in chapter 9. When I went to that door again the quarantine started 👍👍 now I have to defeat the hive mind. I am so glad I had this save file

I don't have any saves of old chapters, well, apparently at this point I have the end of the game

Okay that is good to hear. It was a strange glitch that the quarantine did not start. I found solutions through this community. Always make a few save files so that you don’t have to start over
