RTX 3060 Peformance?

My mate's running this on a 2060. Playing at native 1440p with a smooth framerate. Meanwhile I have to play with DLSS at quality just to hit a stable 50 and I have an RTX3060. Is it due to the CPU difference? Mine's a bit underpowered for the card. He has an i5 8600K and I have an i5 10400f.

I think the i5 10400f is abit better than the i5 8500k...anyways this game does use CPU a lot but that CPU is enough for decent frame rates...it uses all the cores of my 5950x but CPU usage total is below 40% ....Try a different GPU Driver ..use DDU from guru3d.com fresh install and follow some optimization guide in the modding section.
My friend is running a 1060 with 8gb video ram steady 60 fps at 1080p.

Just wanted to say I believe Nvidia have done this themselves with a recent driver update, I saw dead space has it's own Rebar profile in Profile Inspector. So users shouldn't have to do this anymore. In fact depending on how much VRAM you have you may want to disable it. According to digital foundry's video it doesn't provide much performance anyway.

You’ll have to enable in it your Bios as well, unless they’ve changed that
