DirectX Error when game launches

I have a laptop with a 2060 and one day i went to launch the game i got an error: Directx function "FindClosetMatchingMode" failed with DXGI_ERROR_NOT_CURRENTLY_AVAILABLE ("The requested functionality is not supported by the device or the driver."). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060", Driver: 53141
Ive tried verifying game files, changing dx version, reinstalling game and drivers, but i still cant get it to work.

Try an older nvidia driver version. I have recently had an update and the game has stopped working for me too.

Download and install DDU cleaner if you haven't then boot into safe mode and run the program to clean the current driver, do not restart yet go to run and it should still have MSCONFIG load than up go into BOOT options and uncheck safe mode.

Restart then install the latest driver I wouldn't install the hotfix driver that was for the Last of Us Part 1 just the latest official driver and install.
