Does Dead Space Remake requires origin for launch?

EA origin is gone and you now have to use the EA App if you've bought a key for EA launcher, which mind is still in BETA and has been for over a year but they forced moved everyone across. You can actually bypass it by not updating and getting an older version than there currently is, but the EA App has issue where some games dont show up in your list but they do come back at some point.

I had to update and move across because I bought this game from a 3rd party site that was cheaper than Steam and EAs store, I am just having serious issues with this game constant hard locking an crashing all the time

NO, my game goes right from Play to the game without any third party launcher.

theres a steam & EA App version. Have to buy specific version. i made the same mistake at first myself but was lucky enough to get a refund
