I know Isaac speaks a lot more and the layout is difference but is there any extra real dialogue besides fluff?

Plus you need EA Play Pro to play the remake.
Impossible is unlocked after you beat DS1. There is a glitch that would get you the level 5 suit early on that difficulty.
Visceral had a different idea for Dead Space, then Resident Evil 4 came out.
Dead Space 3 is enjoyable, but its focus is co-op play.
For the remake, they expanded the USG Ishimura. They added things that wasn't possible back then.
And a remake is a great way to introduce new people into the series who might shy away from the original with its outdated graphics.
