Actually I'd like to piggyback this thread and ask a more serious question, if there is any significant story differences besides the Marker retcon that happened in DS2?

I know Isaac speaks a lot more and the layout is difference but is there any extra real dialogue besides fluff?

I heard they made all the women uglier on purpose.

I'm sure you did a similar one for Dead Space & The Callisto Protocol.

Actually, all 4 Dead Space games are on EA Play. Just not on Steam.
Plus you need EA Play Pro to play the remake.

Impossible is unlocked after you beat DS1. There is a glitch that would get you the level 5 suit early on that difficulty.

Visceral had a different idea for Dead Space, then Resident Evil 4 came out.

Dead Space 3 is enjoyable, but its focus is co-op play.

For the remake, they expanded the USG Ishimura. They added things that wasn't possible back then.

Two of the major differences is there's a hell of a lot more back tracking to make the game longer and enemies respawn now.

I played and finished the original at least five times since its original release. A graphics upgrade with minimal gameplay changes is definitely something I would look into as a fan.

And a remake is a great way to introduce new people into the series who might shy away from the original with its outdated graphics.

Enimies don’t respawn, they just added a system that spawns new ones randomly depending on difficulty and how recently you died

Isn't really random but it'll only happen when you backtrack. IE if you ignore all of the side missions and unlockable doors you probably won't ever see enemies respawning. They usually respawn with the same kind of enemy composition too.

and i guess respawn was a poor choice of words. it'll respawn the enemies involved with the new system (like you said) but it will never touch the enemies you first come across in a area.
