Backbreaker Achievement

Is anyone else having issues with this achievement? I'm pretty sure I've got at least 10 kills using my boots but I still haven't unlocked this one?

Known bug. It's odd in how it counts kills with stomps.

I've found the easiest way to get the achievement is to farm tentacles pods (the things that are spawned by guardians).

Because the achievement wasn't explained in detail.

When it says 10 kills via stomps, it actually means "One stomp, one kill." In other words, if it took you MORE than one stomp to kill an enemy, it doesn't count.

Therefore, the best way is to farm the pods that the guardian spits out (you encounter your 1st guardian in chapter 5). The pods can be killed in a single stomp. Just let the guardian spit out 10 of those and you can get the achievement easily.

Yeah, I started out by stasis'ing them one by one and stomping the crap out of them, when I got to about 12 I was wondering why I wasn't unlocking the achievement.

Nah, I'm doing my "plasma cutter" run through now, I'm only up to Ch 03, so I should have it soon.

That shouldn't be hard. For me, the only one I don't have is the Untouchable achievement.

Well, I just got Backbreaker, I'm now only missing "One Gun" and "Wishbone."

Ine Gun should be fairly easy, since I have a fully upgreaded plasma cutter from the previous play through,
Wishbone seems to be another one that's unclear, I'm almost constantly hitting kinesis when I'm shooting at the enemies to try and pull something off but it just never happens.

It DEFINITELY wasn't easy dude. It did take me multiple attempts.

I apparently got the Wishbone achievement completely by accident, I didn't even know about it, but during the second level, I think, I panicked when I got cornered and just started shooting and it popped off. Sorry I can't be more help on how to get it though.

I apparently got the Wishbone achievement completely by accident, I didn't even know about it, but during the second level, I think, I panicked when I got cornered and just started shooting and it popped off. Sorry I can't be more help on how to get it though. :taloslol:

I have a feeling if I search it on youtube someone will have come up with a "method."

Epdate: I literally just stasis'd every enemy and spammed the kinesis button after every shot.

Which weapons you used? Because I always stuck with only the plasma cutter and contact beam regardless of difficulty.
