Why can’t people just enjoy the game

I was just browsing through the discussions to inform me about the performance for pascal gpus, but all I see is a very majority of toxic comments…
„eww this game is so woke“
„trash woke game“
„bro you play on gtx 1070? go upgrade you piece of ♥♥♥♥“

I mean why the people have to be this toxic?
Why can’t we just enjoy the game and help each other when there are technical issues?

And to all who don’t like this game for whatever reason… if you don’t like the game, maybe cause of story, gameplay or optimization, it’s okay. Not everyone likes this game and that’s okay. But please don’t destroy the fun others have.

I will buy this game soon and hope it’s enjoying.

That’s all I wanted to say. Bye.

It's silly that you think you're going to have the same experience I have when I'm running a $1200 GPU and you're running something that cost $299 over 7 years ago. C'mon.

I’m not saying that you will have the same experience with a GTX 1070 compared with something like an RTX 3070. Sure you can’t play the game on ultra 4k 144 FPS but I think 1080p 60 FPS on low to a mix of low and medium graphics settings should be doable with older hardware.

I mean the vast majority of gamers still have a GTX 1060, GTX 1070, GTX 1650 and I think developers should do their best to give those gamers a playable experience. Not everyone got 1k (1k in my country) to buy a RTX4070 Ti or wants to.

But… I know it’s a difficult topic with running next gen games on older hardware. That’s just my opinion. I your opinion is different I’m completely fine with that if you’re respectful and not toxic which you aren’t in your post.

Welcome to the human race where some people make a mountain out of a mole hill. There's some genuine complaints and valid criticism though but a lot of it is buried beneath obvious point farming threads or people not sure of how to voice their opinions without sounding kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ or entitled.

Thank you for posting this. The vast majority of folks, I think and hope, are decent and respectable. If they have a tech issue, they voice it which is cool. But the nonsense around the "woke" stuff, etc. is crazy. It's like...huh? Some need to realize the world has changed and I'm hoping in a positive direction and some just can't accept it so they riff on something they can't change. Frankly, I think there are folks complaining who would likely complain less if they just stepped away from games sometimes and went out to get laid by whoever or whatever tickles their fancy. Thank you again for posting.

I'm honestly seeing more people complain about people complaining about woke elements more than people actually complaining about those woke elements.

For some reason I am going to throw in my 2 cents.

I think for most people who complain about the new "woke" changes, its because they see the changes as unnecessary changes that push a political idea that they don't agree with. They see buying the game as supporting what they view as a step in the wrong direction for gaming, and will encourage companies to continue doing a practice that they don't like. And I think it is OK to be possessive about their hobby, to resist a perceived negative changes based on politics. your position on weather the changes are bad, good, or inconsequential, if they represent a malicious subversion of a popular IP or not, will determine where you stand on the issue.

Personally, I am looking at weather or not to buy the game, and it seems like a really well polished product(excluding the obvious launch bug shenanigans) that is worth the money. However, I can see both sides of the issue, but I guess empathetic and reasonable argument is a bit too much of an ask for people on the internet.

Id say youre the silly one, learn about optimization, and the fact that that gpu you bought probablyt would have been 600 bucks had cryptoshit not been a thing. I get it, youre sheep, sheep accept everything. I mean by no means do I expect a 7 year old gpu to run flawlessly but you have people with 3080s having issues so there goes your potato theory

Theres more going on. I have 3080ti, no stutter, 0 crashed, no items unspawned yet (to all). Only a controller bug i had to unpair one of two paired controllers.

Exact same issue here. Tried every combo of gfx and DLSS settings, and the game runs fine at first between 60-90 fps at 4K ultra settings, and then a cutscene hits or an arbitrary amount of time passes and suddenly the fps drops permanently to 20 fps or less. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem.
