How do I fix a missing battery?

I’m on mission 7 moving through the mining deck and the battery that’s supposed to spawn in the big room with the extractor just doesn’t appear. This has completely locked me from moving forward in the game and being so far in I really don’t want to start again… people say loading a previous save from a earlier chapter fixes it but my dumb ass always overwrites one file. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem. I have it on a HHD hard drive and unfortunately no prior autosave to load up anymore. I guess I'm doomed to start a new save now?

You could also wait for a fix from the devs, but it'll take some time.

Do you have more then one SSD? Try moving it to a different drive

Tried that this morning and started from a fresh install & earliest autosave I had, still no battery T.T Really feel like I'm gonna have to wait or start again

dont worry bro it gets better. it seems any time a puzzle requires items, this can happen. Another one is Chapter 12 for a puzzle, 1 battery is suppose to spawn in a room with 3 slots. Nothing is spawning in it. So even if you get past chapter 7, you can find yourself locked at chapter 12, or 2, ect. what a mess. ive tried multiple solutions hdd or ssd, no fix. just waiting for patch.

i've seen some say to reload the entire chapter but that only works if you have a savefile on the previous chapter i guess. can't confirm it myself because i ever saved on the same slot and the autosaves didn't anything either. tried veryfying files, reinstalling, moving the install folder to different drives, lowering resolution, dying but nothing works so if it if you're stuck you are just stuck and can't progress.

yep. worst part is that im on a plasma only run, and want to start new game plus. but there are bugs getting into ng+ too. im so sad dog.
