Welcome to the USG Ishimura, we hope you enjoy your stay.
hope RE4 remake as good
When you give me weapons that can blow things apart, I no longer fear the unknown.
That and I am hardwired to overanalyze every game I play so I can Speedrun it later (if it has unlockables)
This is an action game, with horror elements.
It is I, John Smith Gaming. I am here to inform you that unlike you I am not afraid of this silly game. Furthermore you should know that any horror game that does not remove your arms and make you explode into chunky pieces if the enemy sneezes on your eyeball is not true horror.
I'm glad I could share my enlightened god gamer wisdom with you, because you obviously asked.
Despite my reservations, I did get it simply because I want graphically challenging games (including The Calisto Protocol) that would stress my two systems' CPUs and GPUs. I've always been something of a graphics guys, so these games would definitely look good at max settings, or as near it as I can get with good framerate and purdy graphics.
Skipping Forspoken, as it's not my cuppa after reading some reviews, whereas Isaac is a character you can empathize with, the protagonist in Forspoken just sounds nasty. Not getting this supposedly challenging game (both GPU and CPU, and of all things, storage speed as well in the form of Direct Storage).
I am looking forward to getting back home in two weeks' time and firing up my upgraded main rig, and building my 2nd rig to replace my aging 2nd rig.
The one thing in games that gave me the chills in the last years were the damn puppets in RE8 shadows of rose. That made me stop playing for a minute.
That's fun too. What scared me the most in it was my GF getting freaked out.
Don't have VR and don't plan on buying one in the near future.
