I have a 3080 32 gigs of ram, Intel i9 10900k and installed the game on my SSD
Makes zero sense that my CPU usage was nearing 100% sitting at a menu and running OBS.
I've got:
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 2070 Super
48 GB RAM
Installed on SSD and all that, and I realize what I have isn't the cutting edge hardware wise, but given their minimum and recommended specs I'm surprised I can't even really just play the game in low settings without it having massive issues, let alone streaming it.
and "run this application as administrator" but this introduced a different problem where my OBS would randomly crash or freezes, resulting in my stream going offline when it happens.
Though, I have not checked my temperatures while playing the game so far.
I have the exact same specs (well, 10900kf) and yeah. This game pegs all ten cores at 100% when i'm tabbed out. If i tab back in and let it sit for like five minutes, it slowly decreases in usage, but not by much.
Yeah this game made my stream crash when I tried playing on launch day. Encoder issues, can't stop the stream, have to force close OBS and it errors out. Does this no matter what resolution i run the game at, windowed, full screen, capping the framerate. My audio comes through fine but my video is a freeze frame until i stop stream and restart OBS.
I'm currently going to try a solution. I'm going to see if using process lasso to limit the process affinity so that it can only run on the first five physical cores, and leave the remaining ten for the rest of the PC. Might help OBS / my encoder keep up.
