Graphic bug
I noticed purple and green graphical glitches and wanted to check if anyone else is seeing this.

I narrowed it down to reflection in the graphics settings, the issue is thankfully minor but i see it sometimes.

If i see it and go to graphics settings and adjust reflection lower or higher i can see it dissapear infront of me lol.

I have rx 7900 xt

I have that same issue and I also figured out it was the reflections setting, so I lowered it down to medium and that issue is gone. Also gained about 5fps or so.
I have a 12700k and 4070ti.

Great to see others have the same problem, this should be forwarded to the devs if it isnt already

It appears most frequently in the lower floor of research where the offices are. Run the loop around the central office in a circle and a few will appear nearly every lap. Playing with the settings made me realize that reflections had broken for me at a point and the reflections on the glass and floors were just a mess of pixels or non-existent. Changing the settings restored the reflections.

Default settings of the game do not seem to exhibit this issue as much. Play around with the settings too much and it can get much worse. To go back, delete shader cache, remove config files in the My Documents\Dead Space (2023) folder.

The issue is present with all settings, but it is less frequent with some settings over others. Using TAA causes it to happen frequently. FSR 2.0 Quality appears more stable. It seems to go away almost completely after setting to Low settings, even if you raise it later to something like Ultra. The game seems to stress the CPU and GPU at points. Some of the settings might make it worse. Be cautious, as you wouldn't want to brick your CPU/GPU over a game.

For the 7900 XT, the base VRAM clock appears to be a factor. Overclocking the VRAM to 2600 mhz seems to eliminate the visual glitches and artifacts.

I have a 7900 xt too, and I too have the issue.

If you are talking about something like a short purple flicker when turning around very fast in certain areas, I can confirm this issue with a 2080Ti as well.

I have this issue too. I will see odd Green, Red, Blue, and purple shiny lights that shouldn't belong there. I have screenshots too.

It is the game. The rendering is very heavy on the VRAM. If your GPU cannot handle the heavy io load, then visual glitches may appear. On the 7900 XT, enabling SAM (Smart Access Memory) and overclocking the VRAM eliminates the issue for me. You should probably also lock FPS to 60 on your driver and ensure that load doesn't exceed 80% for the GPU. The game often drops gigabytes of data on the GPU and it causes many issues.

I have the issue a lot, also have a 7900 XTX. So far I've only seen it with 7900 users, with the single exception of the 4070 user in here. I doubt it's a heavy VRAM issue if it's primarily happening to people with 24gb of VRAM lol.

Considering everyone's fixes in here are totally different, I feel like the issue presents totally randomly. Anything can make it go away for a moment and anything can bring it back.

DF made a Dead Space video mentioning the VRAM spikes.

This issue is called GPU Artifacting, and it can occur when VRAM cannot keep up with what it is being rendered. It is a throughput issue, not a memory size issue. Lowering settings, enabling SAM, and OCing VRAM can alleviate the issue to the point it disappears. I no longer experience these visual glitches on my PC.

Like I said, 2080ti here and I had those rare purple flickers while turning around quickly.
