Mouse smoothing fix.

The mouse camera control feels sluggish.

Add "GstInput.MouseSmoothing 0" to the bottom of ProfileOptions_profile via a text editor.

ProfileOptions_profile is located in %userprofile%\Documents\Dead Space (2023)\settings

Definitely mouse smoothing going on. Had to change back to game pad until someone knows how to disable it.

Yeah just wanted to rule out something on my end Ill start the old digging through config files. Frostbite games in the past didn't have this problem for me.

Ok so in older versions of Frostbite engine the Cvar was "GstInput.MouseSmoothing 0"
Located in %userprofile%\Documents\Dead Space (2023)\settings open ProfileOptions_profile with a text editor and add the line to the bottom and save.

Tried it out and it works for the smoothing. Still doesnt feel 1:1 but is loads better than what it was for sure.

idk for me the game just forces certain settings like balances dlss quality setting and erases the input setting as well. i tried putting the config to read only doesnt matter

I don't have that issue sorry. I find it funny that this variable is in the other Profile ini but only seems to work for me in the Profile Options ini. Maybe we might have to wait and hope for a console mod and trying setting the variable in game and measuring the change.
